Vistempo terms of use

Updated on September 11, 2026. This is the same text as Sources/VistempoCore/Termos.swift, which the apps show in Settings, translated in Localizacao/VistempoCore.xcstrings; changing one means changing the others, and the // --- privacidade e metricas block of Checks compares all three.

Vistempo is a focus timer that runs on your own devices. Using it means agreeing with what is written here.

What Vistempo is

An app for Mac and iPhone that times focus sessions, keeps your history and shows patterns in that history. No Vistempo account is required. Optional sync uses your Apple iCloud account, and purchases use the App Store. Vistempo operates no server of its own.

Using it

Vistempo is yours to use on your devices, for as long as you like. If you disagree with these terms, stop using the app and uninstall it. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription or erase stored data; see the cancellation section and privacy policy.

It is not a health product

Vistempo is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, does not treat and does not monitor ADHD or any other condition, and the numbers it shows describe only the use of a stopwatch. Nothing in the app replaces the opinion of a health professional, and no decision about treatment should rest on it.

Your files and your backup

Your history stays on your devices and, if enabled, in your iCloud Drive. We hold no copy and cannot restore it for you. Keep backups of records you want to preserve. Sync also stores session state, categories and custom closing-reason chips in internal files and, when enabled, your private CloudKit database, as described in the privacy policy.

What Vistempo Pro costs

The timer is free, and stays free: the whole session, the categories, the notes, the sync between your devices and the recent history cost nothing, and there are no ads anywhere. Vistempo Pro is a subscription, monthly or yearly, that opens the analysis and the progression on top of that. The price is never written into this text: it appears on the screen before any purchase, in your own currency, exactly as the App Store hands it over.

The trial, the renewal and how to cancel

A subscription may start with a free trial if your Apple Account is eligible. The offer, price and billing period are shown before purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled in your Apple Account subscription settings. To avoid a charge after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. The App Store shows the effective end date; a trial may end when cancelled. Deleting Vistempo does not cancel the subscription. The same subscription grants Pro on Mac and iPhone using the Apple Account that purchased it; use Restore purchase when needed.

Apple charges, and Apple refunds

Purchases and refund requests are processed by Apple under the applicable App Store terms and consumer law. Vistempo does not receive payment credentials and cannot issue a refund directly. You can request a refund from Apple and contact us for help with the app. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

Going back to the free plan

Cancelling renewal normally keeps Pro available until the end of the current paid period shown by the App Store. When access expires or Apple revokes it, the app returns to the free plan without erasing your records. A billing grace period, when granted by Apple, keeps access until its stated end. Your history continues to be recorded in full and becomes visible again if you subscribe later.

Apps that are not ours

iCloud Drive is Apple's, and sending a note to Todoist opens Todoist. What those apps do with what arrives is covered by their own terms, not by these.

What is promised, and what is not

Vistempo is delivered as it is. It is built with care and checked before each release, but nobody can promise that a warning always arrives on time — the system decides when an app may run in the background — or that no session is ever lost. Messages between your devices through iCloud depend on network access and system delivery. The screens may temporarily disagree; there is no guaranteed delivery time. Use it as a helper, not as the only record of something that matters.

What we do not answer for

As far as the law allows, Vistempo does not answer for what you decide based on the numbers it shows, nor for time, money or data lost through its use. Nothing written here takes away a right that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.

Which law applies

Vistempo is made in Brazil and these terms follow Brazilian law. Where the law of the place you live gives you more than this text does, that law wins.
